The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has launched the Pathways to Work Innovation Fund, committing up to £60 million in grant funding over two years. The fund is designed to test new approaches, including technological innovations, aimed at helping disabled people and individuals with long-term health conditions move towards, enter, stay in, and progress in employment.
Organisations across the UK are invited to apply for funding. This includes public sector bodies, businesses, voluntary and community organisations, and partnerships or consortia. The DWP is seeking ideas that can improve employment outcomes and generate valuable learning.
An online application portal is expected to launch in early October 2026. In the interim, applicants can download a form and submit it via post or email. Required documents include a Milestones and Delivery template and a Budget template.
To assist organisations and individuals in forming collaborations, a partnership directory will be published by 5 October 2026. Those interested in being listed can complete a Partnership Interest Form.
