Connacht back row Jemima Adams Verling will make her senior Ireland debut this Sunday in the WXV Global Series opener against the United States. The match is scheduled to take place in Dublin.

Adams Verling, 20, will play at blind-side flanker, joining captain Erin King at open-side flanker and Aoife Wafer at number eight. Her selection follows impressive performances in the U18 and U21 Women's Six Nations in 2024 and last year, respectively, as well as for the Clovers in the Celtic Challenge.

Head coach Scott Bemand has selected an experienced forward pack, including props Niamh O'Dowd and Linda Djougang, and hooker Cliodhna Moloney-MacDonald. Dorothy Wall and Fiona Tuite-O'Sullivan will form the second row. The team will open their WXV Global Series campaign at Tallaght Stadium, Dublin, at 13:45 BST.
