Adobe acquires Indian marketing intelligence startup Rilo

Adobe has acquired India-based marketing intelligence startup Rilo, a deal confirmed by both companies.

  • Adobe's acquisition of Rilo includes licensing and team acquisition.
  • Rilo, founded in 2025, had raised $1 million from investors.
  • Rilo will cease operations and will not be available to its customers post-acquisition.

Adobe has acquired Rilo, an India-based marketing intelligence startup, in a deal that involves licensing and the acquisition of its team. This marks Adobe's second acquisition from India, following its purchase of video platform Rephrase.ai in 2023.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed by either company. Adobe declined to comment further beyond confirming the acquisition.

Rilo's technology and its six-member team are focused on automating marketing workflows. This includes competitor intelligence, content repurposing and distribution, and sales call analysis. The acquisition is expected to bolster Adobe's existing products, particularly for its larger customers, as companies increasingly use AI for campaign creation, deployment, and tracking.

Founded in 2025 by Georgi Boby and Dhruv Jaglan, Rilo had previously raised $1 million from investors including PeakXV, DeVC, and Day Zero Ventures, at a $10 million valuation. Investors are expected to exit as a result of this deal. Following the acquisition, Rilo will shut down and will no longer be available to its customers.
