An Afghan boxer, Sharif Ahmadzai, 26, has appeared in court in Athens for a second time, facing charges in connection with the death of Scottish aid worker Elisabeth Ross.
Mr Ahmadzai is accused of homicide with intent, robbery, and weapons offences. Ms Ross, 38, was discovered in a derelict building in the Kypseli area of the Greek capital on July 18.
Greek officials have stated that Mr Ahmadzai admitted to moving the body but denied the homicide allegations. He is also facing allegations of stealing over €10,000 (£8,500) from Ms Ross's bank accounts using her bank cards.
On Wednesday, Mr Ahmadzai was assigned a court-appointed lawyer and given time to prepare his defence. He arrived back in court on Thursday morning in an unmarked grey car.
Ms Ross, from Edinburgh, was volunteering with a refugee support group in Athens. She arrived in Greece on June 26 and is believed to have died several days before her body was found.
