Holly Aitchison is set to earn her 50th England cap as she starts at fly-half for the Red Roses in their WXV opener against Australia. The match will take place on Saturday in Manchester.
The 28-year-old was part of England's Six Nations Grand Slam earlier this year, starting in two of their wins. Head coach John Mitchell has made five changes to the team that previously beat France in Bordeaux.
Among the returning players are scrum-half Natasha Hunt, back from a knee ligament injury, and World Cup winner Tatyana Heard, making her first Test appearance of the year after recovering from a foot injury. May Campbell will also make her first Test start at hooker.
England will be looking to continue their dominant record against Australia, having won all eight of their previous meetings, including a 47-7 victory in last year's World Cup pool stages.
