Amelia Dimoldenberg, known for her YouTube series Chicken Shop Date, has indicated that Prime Minister Andy Burnham would not be a guest on her show. She stated, "I don't think that maybe he's my type for Chicken Shop Date."

Despite this, Dimoldenberg, who has millions of followers, expressed openness to collaborating with content creators and would "love" to have a conversation with the Prime Minister. She specifically mentioned wanting to discuss his efforts to tackle youth unemployment, highlighting the importance of training schemes and apprenticeships.

Dimoldenberg is also bringing back her free summer course, the Dimz Inc. Academy, for a second year. The programme, which aims to help young people aged 18-24 enter the creative industries, has been extended from one week to four and offers guaranteed paid work placements and mentoring.

Beyond Chicken Shop Date, Dimoldenberg's projects include the second series of her comedy show Passenger Princess on YouTube and hosting red carpet interviews. She also recently directed a music video for Maisie Peters' single My Regards and is set to star in a rom-com, playing herself.

Why this matters: Amelia Dimoldenberg's comments highlight the growing role of content creators in public discourse and political engagement, as Prime Minister Andy Burnham reportedly plans to court them to disseminate his message.
