TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 is scheduled for 13-15 October at Moscone West in San Francisco, with more than 10,000 innovators, founders, investors and industry leaders expected to attend.

Organisers are accepting applications for the Disrupt Side Events programme, which allows approved hosts to run their own gatherings in the Bay Area between 10-16 October. Approved events are promoted to Disrupt attendees through the official Side Events calendar and marketing channels.

Side Events can take formats including industry roundtables, VC office hours, workshops, dinners and networking happy hours. Events must be open to both Disrupt attendees and the broader public, and hosts must have a venue selected in the Bay Area.

There is no cost to apply or participate. The application deadline is Friday 4 September at midnight PT.

Why this matters: The Side Events programme offers organisations and individuals a way to engage directly with thousands of tech industry attendees during Disrupt week.

What this means for you: If you are planning to host a community event during Disrupt week in the Bay Area, you can apply at no cost before the 4 September deadline.
