A number of prominent musical artists appear to be hinting at their involvement in the Grand Theft Auto 6 soundtrack. Several musicians shared images on social media that resemble the artwork used to promote the game and its setting of Vice City.
Travis Scott posted an image of a pole dancer's shoe with lyrics that are not from any of his released tracks, tagging GTA developers Rockstar Games. Fans reportedly believe the lyrics' reference to "J.O.H" could be linked to the Jack Of Hearts strip club seen in a recent 'Grand Theft Auto 6 Extended Look'.
Other artists, including PinkPantheress and Fred Again.., shared images of a yacht, while Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones posted an animated iguana. Future, Morgan Wallen, Metro Boomin, Rauw Alejandro, CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, and Yung Lean are also among those hinting at their participation.
Earlier this month, it was reported that a spot on the Grand Theft Auto 6 soundtrack can significantly boost streaming numbers. For example, Captain & Tennille’s ‘But I Think It’s A Dream’ saw a 130,730 per cent increase in global streams in the three days following the 'Grand Theft Auto 6 showcase', compared to the week prior.
Developers of Grand Theft Auto 6 have previously stated that the game will not feature microtransactions or AI-generated assets. Rockstar Games has also confirmed a "next evolution" of GTA Online, including an official collaboration with the roleplay server nopixel.
