AWS to embed Superblocks vibe coding in customer private clouds

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced a multi-year joint marketing agreement with Superblocks, allowing its vibe coding tool to be embedded within AWS customers' private clouds.

Vibe coding startup Superblocks has entered a multi-year joint marketing agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS). This collaboration will enable Superblocks' tool to be embedded directly within the private clouds of AWS customers.

This integration means that enterprises subscribing to Superblocks via AWS will be able to offer vibe coding to their business users. Crucially, applications developed using this method will not transmit data or information externally to model providers or databases. Instead, these apps will utilise Amazon Aurora databases within the company's private cloud and integrate with Amazon Bedrock, AWS's AI app development platform.

Superblocks co-founder and CEO Brad Menezes stated that this approach ensures data remains within the customer's AWS account, benefiting from existing auditing, encryption, and network controls. An AWS spokesperson confirmed their support for partners demonstrating strong customer demand and alignment with customer building preferences.

This move is part of a broader trend among hyperscaler cloud providers encouraging enterprises to decouple AI models from other necessary infrastructure and run them on their clouds. This strategy aims for enterprises to acquire AI harnesses, orchestration, and security tools from cloud providers rather than frontier AI providers.
