Barcelona continued their flawless start to the season with a hard-fought 4-2 La Liga victory over Levante in Valencia on Sunday. Goals from Xavi Espart and Lamine Yamal put Barcelona two goals ahead within 19 minutes.
Yamal, 19, converted a penalty just 42 seconds into the second half, marking his third double in his last three La Liga matches. Levante rallied with goals from Iván Romero and Roger Brugue, but Karim Adeyemi sealed Barcelona's win in the 93rd minute.
The win places Barcelona at the top of the table with five wins from five, three points clear of Real Madrid.
In Germany, RB Leipzig bounced back from their Champions League defeat by thrashing Hamburg 5-0 at home. Norway winger Antonio Nusa contributed a goal and two assists, including one for Christopher Nkunku's first goal since returning to Leipzig in August. Tidiam Gomis, Willi Orban, and Romulo also scored for Leipzig, who moved up to fourth in the Bundesliga. Hamburg remain at the bottom of the table after their third significant defeat this campaign.
