Oliver Smith, a nine-year-old from Wombwell in Barnsley, was given a surprise meeting with Spider-Man stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Jacob Batalon. The surprise was arranged by BBC's The One Show after Oliver raised £16,000 for The Brain Tumour Charity.
Oliver completed nine marathons in four months following his father Tom's diagnosis with a meningioma last year. He was taken to London under the impression of being interviewed by the charity, but instead met the actors at the five-star Raffles hotel.
Oliver described bursting into tears of happiness and called it "a really good experience." He and his family were also given tickets to the new Spider-Man film premiere. His father, Tom, who has recovered well after successful surgery, expressed immense pride in Oliver's achievements.
Oliver, who has been running since age four, is now undertaking a triathlon challenge to raise further funds for the charity.
