Scott and Beauden Barrett have been recalled to the New Zealand side to take on Australia in the first of back-to-back Bledisloe Cup clashes at Eden Park, with Damian McKenzie stationed at fly half.

McKenzie fills the fly-half role in the absence of Ruben Love and Richie Mo'unga. Love will miss the remainder of the year due to injury, while Mo'unga suffered a small tear in his calf on Tuesday and has been ruled out of both games against the Wallabies.

New Zealand have held the trans-Tasman prize since 2002, and the hosts are unbeaten at their Auckland fortress in 53 matches stretching back to 1994. Australia's confidence was buoyed by success against South Africa a fortnight ago, and a gruelling year has taken its toll on an injury-hit New Zealand squad.

Kick off at Eden Park is at 7.10am BST.

Why this matters: Australia are seeking a first Bledisloe Cup since 2002, but to claim it they would need to end New Zealand's 53-match unbeaten run at Eden Park stretching back to 1994.
