Beau Greaves made darts history by becoming the first woman to win on the European Tour, defeating Daryl Gurney 6-4 in the first round of the Czech Darts Open.
The 22-year-old trailed 3-1 before hitting back with legs of 14, 13 and 11 darts to edge ahead. Gurney levelled again, but Greaves broke back and sealed the win on double one.
It was the first victory by a woman in the 15-year history of the European Tour, coming a week after she lost in a last-leg decider to former world champion Rob Cross on her debut in Hungary.
Greaves now faces world No 2 Luke Humphries in Saturday's second round, with Luke Littler, Gerwyn Price, Michael van Gerwen and Gian van Veen also entering at that stage.
"It feels amazing," said Greaves. "It's just so nice to win a game, I was so nervous at the start, I don't know why. It took me so long to get settled, but luckily I did enough to win the game."
Looking ahead to facing Humphries, she added: "I've played Luke on the big stage before so I know what to expect, he's world class so I'm going to have to play a lot better than I did tonight."
