Manchester’s Beyond The Music 2026 festival has confirmed a new wave of artists set to perform. The event, which aims to address issues facing the creative industries, will take place in MediaCity, Salford, from October 6 to 9.
Among the newly announced acts are Scottish art-rock band Walt Disco and London goth rock outfit Moth Ulcers. They join previously confirmed artists such as Tom A Smith, Gans, and The Slow Readers Club. Other performers include Cody Frost, Another Country $$, and TELESHOPPING, with more artists expected to be announced.
The festival will also feature the 'All Content Global AI Summit', convened by Prime Minister Andy Burnham. This summit is scheduled to close the conference on October 9. The 2026 instalment will begin with a 24th-anniversary premiere of Steve Coogan’s 24 Hour Party People, ahead of the 2002 film's 4K rerelease.
Andy Burnham, a co-founder of Beyond The Music, previously stated that the festival would continue to explore current issues in the music industry through keynote conversations, industry showcases, and networking opportunities.
