Big Sean and Kanye West have reunited on stage, performing together at West's Chicago concert at Soldier Field on September 4. Sean made a surprise appearance during the homecoming show.
The reunion comes after years of public tension between the two artists. West signed Sean to his G.O.O.D Music label in 2007, but their relationship soured, with West stating in 2021 that signing Sean was the "worst thing I've ever done."
During the concert, Sean performed his hit 'I Don't Fuck With You'. Both artists then celebrated their reunion by performing their collaborations 'Clique' and 'Mercy', with 2 Chainz also joining for 'Mercy'. Sean expressed his appreciation for West on stage, saying, "Ye, I love you, bro, and I appreciate you," to which West replied, "Love you, fam."
West's ongoing comeback tour has faced controversy, with several dates cancelled due to his history of anti-Semitic comments and use of Nazi imagery. This includes London's Wireless Festival, which was axed after the UK government blocked West's entry. Planned shows in Poland, Switzerland, and Russia have also been cancelled or postponed, and an Italian show was pulled over safety concerns.
