London-based Irish band Bleech 9:3 have released their new single, 'Figure 8'. The track, which frontman Barry 'Baz' Quinlan described as "the product of crying quietly so your flatmates don’t hear you," was released yesterday, August 19, via Polydor Records.
'Figure 8' was produced by Dan Carey, known for his work with Fontaines D.C. and Wet Leg, and mixed by Rich Costey, whose credits include Arctic Monkeys. The song features Quinlan’s vocals alongside urgent guitars and a propulsive rhythm.
The band, included in this year’s NME 100, will also be playing a UK and Ireland headline tour later this year. Dates are scheduled for November and December, including a show at London’s Electric Ballroom.
Before their headline tour, Bleech 9:3 are set to open for Wunderhorse in Belfast and Cork next week. They also have appearances planned at Reading & Leeds, Electric Picnic, and Iceland Airwaves.
