West Mercia Police have confirmed that the body of a 22-year-old man, identified as Brody Leach, has been recovered from the River Severn in Shrewsbury. The man was last seen entering the river in the early hours of Friday morning, reportedly wearing jeans and no T-shirt. The police stated that Brody had got into difficulty in the water and his death is not being treated as suspicious.

A formal identification of the body was made by Brody's family, and they have been informed. The police have asked for their privacy to be respected during this difficult time.
