Bouchier century powers Hampshire to Women's One-Day Cup final

Hampshire have secured their place in the Women's One-Day Cup final for the second consecutive season, defeating Surrey by 194 runs, largely thanks to Maia Bouchier's unbeaten 117.

  • Maia Bouchier scored an unbeaten 117, her third century in September, making her the competition's leading run-scorer with 721 runs.
  • Hampshire posted 303-5, with Freya Kemp scoring 77 and Abi Norgrove 60.
  • Australian Amanda-Jade Wellington took 5-19 as Surrey were bowled out for 109.

Hampshire have thrashed Surrey by 194 runs to reach the Metro Bank Women's One-Day Cup final for the second season in a row. The victory at Utilita Bowl was spearheaded by Maia Bouchier, who continued her superb form with an unbeaten 117.

Bouchier's century, her third in September and second in back-to-back matches, helped Hampshire set a formidable total of 303-5. She formed century stands with Freya Kemp, who scored 77, and Abi Norgrove, who added 60 runs.

In response, Surrey were bowled out for 109 in 27.3 overs. Australian spinner Amanda-Jade Wellington was instrumental in Hampshire's bowling attack, claiming 5-19, taking her 2026 tally to 37 wickets.

Hampshire will now face The Blaze in the final on Saturday at the Utilita Bowl, aiming to avenge their defeat to Lancashire in last year's final.
