Irish boxer Lee Reeves is in a "critical but stable" condition in hospital after being stretchered out of the ring in Dublin on Saturday. The 31-year-old Limerick fighter was knocked out in the 10th round while facing Gary Cully for the vacant BUI Celtic super-lightweight title at the 3Arena.
Following the fight, Reeves was transferred to hospital. A spokesperson for Queensberry Promotions provided an update on Sunday, confirming his condition. They stated, "Lee Reeves is still in hospital, in a critical but stable condition."
Queensberry Promotions added that more information is expected in the coming days. Both Cully and Queensberry promoter Frank Warren have expressed their thoughts and prayers for Reeves and his family.
