Tottenham Hotspur are set to kick off their Premier League campaign this evening, travelling across London to face Brentford. The match at the Gtech Community Stadium is scheduled for a 5:30pm BST kick-off.
Spurs have reportedly made significant outlays this summer, with spending approaching £400m. New faces expected to feature include Marcos Senesi, Jan Paul van Hecke, Andy Robertson, Sandro Tonali, and Mateus Fernandes. Savinho has also been signed for £85m, with his Manchester City teammate Omar Marmoush a reported target.
Brentford, under manager Keith Andrews, finished ninth last term and are described as settled. While Sepp van den Berg and Antoni Milambo are out, Andrews reportedly has a fully fit squad otherwise. Jaidon Anthony, Callum Wilson, and Mamadou Sangare could all make their debuts for the Bees.
