British political commentator Milo Yiannopoulos, 41, has reportedly been detained by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), according to the agency's records. A search of ICE's inmate registry indicates he appears to be held in Louisiana.
Yiannopoulos, who grew up in Kent, England, currently resides in the US. The specific circumstances surrounding his apparent detention remain unclear. Neither ICE nor Yiannopoulos have responded to requests for comment.
A former editor for the right-wing US website Breitbart, Yiannopoulos has been a vocal supporter of US President Donald Trump, including backing tighter immigration restrictions. He posted on X last year advocating for "Total legal immunity for ICE agents when they're on duty."
