Two brothers from Harrogate sustained cuts after a steam room door shattered while they were on a package holiday in Turkey in 2022. The boys, then aged 11 and 16, were staying at the Green Nature Diamond Hotel with their parents when the incident occurred.

CCTV footage, obtained by their father, reportedly shows the glass door shattering, causing cuts to various parts of their bodies, including their feet, legs, and arms. A doctor on site treated the boys.

Hudgell Solicitors launched a claim for damages on behalf of the family. After a 10-month wait for the CCTV footage, Jet2Holidays, who initially denied liability, agreed to a £7,000 compensation package. The travel company stated: "We would like to reiterate how sorry we are about this incident."
