England fast bowler Brydon Carse has been left out of the squad for the final Test of the summer against Pakistan at Edgbaston next week. This decision comes as police continue to investigate allegations of an assault connected to a late-night incident at a Derby bar last month.

Carse was briefly arrested and placed in handcuffs following the incident. The Cricket Regulator is also conducting an investigation into the matter.

As a result of these allegations and ongoing investigations, the 31-year-old was also dropped from the squad for last week's second Test. He had been part of the squad for the first game but was not named in the starting XI.
