Bywater, a pioneer in low-carbon property development, has forged an innovative partnership with infinitSpace, one of the world's leading flexible workspace operators. The collaboration will introduce 'beyond Paradise', a luxurious co-working space within Bywater's award-winning mass timber office development, Paradise SE11, in Vauxhall, South East London.
Paradise SE11, located on Old Paradise Street, has made history as the UK's lowest embodied carbon mass timber office development. The 14,000 sq ft 'beyond Paradise' workspace will occupy three floors of the building, offering an immersive experience that moves away from traditional corporate aesthetics. The remaining space within the development is available for conventional leasing through agents Knight Frank, Ingleby Trice, and Cushman & Wakefield.
Designed to promote well-being and creativity, 'beyond Paradise' incorporates natural materials, warm timbers, and biophilic detailing to create a restorative environment. Members will enjoy access to private offices, co-working areas, breakout spaces, high-specification meeting rooms, and event facilities, as well as a curated events and wellbeing programme, on-site gym facilities, and a hospitality-led service model featuring a barista offering and dedicated member app.
The fit-out of 'beyond Paradise' is being handled by Thirdway, ensuring the space maintains the high design and quality standards established by the wider Paradise SE11 building. This partnership reflects Bywater and infinitSpace's shared commitment to sustainability and designing workplaces that positively impact their users.
Paradise SE11 already exceeds the RIBA 2030 Climate Challenge target, with each timber structural element effectively locking away as much carbon as a steel equivalent would emit. The introduction of 'beyond Paradise' is expected to enhance the building's overall leasing proposition by providing additional amenities and fostering a sense of community among occupiers.
