Caffè Nero launches high-protein lattes in partnership with Myprotein

Caffè Nero has partnered with Myprotein to introduce two new high-protein lattes across its more than 600 UK cafes, aiming to enter the growing high-protein drinks market.

  • Caffè Nero will offer two new high-protein lattes: Iced Vanilla Protein Matcha Latte and Iced Vanilla Protein Latte.
  • The drinks contain 24 grams and 25 grams of protein respectively, and are both under 160 calories.
  • The partnership is with Myprotein, a THG-owned fitness brand.

Caffè Nero has announced a new deal with Myprotein, a Manchester-based protein shake maker, to introduce high-protein lattes. The coffee chain, which operates over 600 cafes across the UK, will roll out two new high-protein lattes across its entire estate.

The new offerings include an Iced Vanilla Protein Matcha Latte and an Iced Vanilla Protein Latte. Both drinks are under 160 calories, with the Iced Vanilla Protein Matcha Latte providing 24 grams of protein and the Iced Vanilla Protein Latte offering 25 grams of protein.

Neil Mistry, boss of THG Nutrition, stated that demand for protein coffee is increasing in the UK, mirroring a trend seen in the US. Lysa Hardy, boss of Caffè Nero UK, added that these additions respond to customer demand for high-protein drinks.

Caffè Nero expects to introduce more products under this partnership in January.

What this means for you: You can now purchase high-protein lattes at Caffè Nero locations across the UK.
