Activision has confirmed that the beta for the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will allow players to experience a complete campaign mission, a first for the series. This mission is titled 'Entrenched'.
The initial beta weekend is scheduled for August 21 to 25. During this period, players who have pre-ordered Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, or PC will have early access. The second beta weekend will follow from August 28 to September 1, open to all players, including Nintendo Switch 2 owners.
In addition to the campaign mission, the first beta weekend will offer five 6v6 multiplayer maps: Rooftops, Silkworm, Transit 213, Cachette, and Lotus. The second beta weekend is set to introduce more multiplayer maps and modes.
The full game is expected to launch on October 23 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. Players who pre-order the game will be able to access the single-player campaign mode from October 16.
