Cardo AI, a technology platform focused on asset-backed finance (ABF) and private credit, has been prominently featured in Chartis Research's 2026 Global Rankings. The company announced its recognition in two of Chartis Research's STORM reports, considered authoritative independent assessments of risk technology vendors worldwide. This performance underscores Cardo AI's growing influence and specialisation in a critical segment of the financial industry.
In the BuySideRisk 50 report, Cardo AI demonstrated a notable improvement, ascending 13 places from 32nd to 19th position. This marks one of the most significant year-on-year advances within the ranking. The company also secured two distinct awards: an Industry Category Award for being the leading platform in asset-backed finance and a Solution Category Award for its innovative Risk Management as a Service model. This dual recognition highlights the breadth and depth of its offerings in risk assessment and management.
Further solidifying its position, Cardo AI ranked 25th in the QuantTech 50 report. In this category, it received the Asset-Backed Finance Award for Pricing, Valuation, and Asset-Class Specific Analytics. This award specifically acknowledges its comprehensive coverage across diverse financial products, including consumer loans, Collateralised Loan Obligations (CLOs), trade finance, and specialty finance. It also recognises the platform's capability to expand into segments that traditional, generic analytical tools often struggle to serve.
These combined recognitions position Cardo AI as a preferred risk and analytics platform for institutional participants in the private credit and ABF markets. These markets are experiencing increasing complexity and moving further into the financial mainstream. Asset managers, banks, and insurers are increasingly seeking single providers that can offer integrated solutions for portfolio risk, cash flow analytics, and reporting across often illiquid asset classes, a need that Cardo AI appears well-placed to meet.
Altin Kadareja, Co-Founder & CEO of Cardo AI, commented on the results, stating that asset-backed finance is one of the most analytically demanding areas of private markets, and many existing platforms were not designed to handle its intricacies. He emphasised that these results confirm Cardo AI's specialisation in ABF across both analytics and risk management, which is precisely what their clients depend on them for. The platform currently manages over $100 billion in assets under technology, connecting to more than 160 external systems and processing trillions of data points to power various financial operations.
