Spain's Eugenio Chacarra has pulled further ahead at the DP World India Championship, now leading by two shots after 11 holes of his third round. The 26-year-old, who was 10 under after two rounds, birdied four of his opening seven holes to reach 14 under.
Fellow Spaniard Angel Hidalgo and the Netherlands' Joost Luiten are Chacarra's closest challengers at 12 under. Scotland's Scott Jamieson is a shot further back, while Northern Ireland's Tom McKibbin is four shots adrift.
However, Rory McIlroy experienced an erratic third round, falling 10 shots off the lead to sit at four under par. After a bogey-free second round, McIlroy dropped four shots in as many holes from the third, though he did manage an eagle three at the 14th.
The third round was halted due to darkness at Delhi Golf Club, with many players yet to complete their rounds.
