Football fans are gearing up for the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League league phase draw, scheduled for Thursday, August 27. The ceremony, held in Monaco, will determine the eight league phase matches for each of the 36 competing teams.
The draw is set to commence at 5pm BST. English powerhouses Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United, Aston Villa, and Liverpool are confirmed participants. Scottish side Celtic also has a strong chance to join them, holding a 3-0 lead from their first leg play-off against LASK.
The draw will see each team face two opponents from each of the four pots, with half of their matches played at home and the other half away. Pot one includes top clubs such as PSG, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and Barcelona, alongside Liverpool, Manchester City, and Arsenal.
The league phase itself is scheduled to kick off with Matchday 1 between September 8-10, culminating in Matchday 8 on January 27. The final is slated for June 5 at the Estadio Metropolitano in Madrid.
