The Charity Commission, the regulator for charities in England and Wales, has appointed Interim Managers to CG Community Council (registered charity number 502955). This decision follows a statutory inquiry launched in April 2025 into the charity's governance and financial management.
Charles Turner and Emma Mifsud from Opus Business Advisory Group LLP were appointed in July 2026, taking over from the charity's trustee. Their responsibilities include overseeing daily management, ensuring rent collection, and evaluating the charity's financial health.
The Interim Managers are also authorised to dispose of the charity's properties as they deem best for the charity and its beneficiaries. The Charity Commission's inquiry into CG Community Council remains active.
