Y Combinator-backed Circleback has introduced a free subscription tier for its meeting note-taker product. This new plan allows users to transcribe an unlimited number of meetings, though access to their history is limited to the last 30 days.
The free tier also provides access to mobile and Apple Watch applications, the ability to use AI to query transcripts, and integration with Linear and Slack. Previously, Circleback did not offer a free option.
For those seeking additional features, Circleback's subscription plans now begin at $14 per month when paid annually. These plans offer all integrations, unlimited meeting history, and full API and MCP access. Prior to this change, Circleback's paid plans started at $20.83 per month.
Co-founder Ali Haghani stated that the introduction of a free plan aims to increase user engagement, following a significant drop-off observed with the previous limited trial period.
