City Giving Day 2026 is underway, with The Lord Mayor’s Appeal embarking on a new strategic chapter aimed at addressing London’s growing challenge of young people not in education, employment, or training (NEET). The campaign calls on businesses within the City to do more than just raise money, urging them to invest directly in the next generation of London’s talent and future workforce.
The initiative seeks to connect young people with the network of businesses, mentors, and professionals in the Square Mile, providing pathways to opportunity. City Giving Day is described as a moment when businesses of all sizes unite around a shared vision, demonstrating what the Square Mile stands for beyond financial metrics.
City AM has been a media partner of City Giving Day since 2015, supporting charities such as Maggie’s and encouraging other City firms to participate. The publication has also engaged in various fundraising activities over the years, including a coffee, cake, and Bloody Mary breakfast tradition.
