The Civil Nuclear Constabulary (CNC) has been shortlisted for the Occupational Health category in the Oscar Kilo Awards 2026. This recognition follows over 90 submissions made to the awards, which aim to acknowledge outstanding work in policing to improve staff welfare.

The CNC's submission detailed its achievement as the second police force nationally to gain Safe Effective Quality Occupational Health Service (SEQOHS) accreditation. It also highlighted the development of a bespoke Health Needs Assessment (HNA) programme.

Emma Aldred, Head of Occupational Health and Wellbeing, expressed pride in the CNC's health and wellbeing offerings. She noted the team's continuous drive for new ideas and their excitement at being shortlisted for the award for the second year in a row.
