The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has opened an 'invitation to comment' regarding the anticipated acquisition of Mitie Group plc by OCS Group International Limited. This marks the initial stage of the CMA's information-gathering process.
The CMA is seeking views from interested parties on any potential impact the transaction could have on competition within the UK. While the CMA has received the necessary information from the companies to commence pre-notification, a formal Phase 1 investigation has not yet been launched.
