The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has opened an 'invitation to comment' regarding the anticipated acquisition of Air Liquide Healthcare Limited’s home oxygen services business by Dolby Medical Home Respiratory Care Limited, known as Vivisol.
This request for comments is part of the CMA's initial information-gathering process. Interested parties are encouraged to submit their views on any potential impact the transaction could have on competition within the UK.
The CMA has confirmed it has received the necessary information from the companies to begin the pre-notification stage. A formal Phase 1 investigation into the merger has not yet been launched.
