Condé Nast Traveller editors have released their top recommendations for luggage sets in 2026. The selection is the result of thorough testing by their team, including editors Charley Ward and Lauren Burvill, who evaluated a wide range of soft and hardside luggage.
The testing process involved initial in-office assessments by the editors, followed by real-world use on trips by other team members. Criteria for evaluation included overall build quality, wheel performance, TSA locks, design features such as external pockets and laptop compartments, and overall value for money. Weight, size, usability, and visual appeal were also considered.
The publication highlighted nine specific luggage sets, identifying them across different categories. These include Monos as the 'Best customisable luggage set', July as the 'Best lightweight luggage set', and Antler as the 'Best all-round luggage set'. Other recommendations covered categories such as 'Best budget', 'Best eco-friendly', and 'Best luxury'.
