The UK conveyancing distributor Conveybuddy has made a record-breaking charitable donation of £9,747 to its three charity partners during the second quarter of this year. This significant sum is not only the largest donation made by the company since it launched its charitable giving initiative but also underscores a period of notable growth for the platform.
The contributions are directly linked to completed conveyancing cases processed through the platform, with Conveybuddy donating up to £5 for each successful transaction. This model allows property advisers utilising the service to play an active role in the charitable effort, as they can choose which of the three nominated charities their contributions support. The beneficiaries of this quarter's donation are the Motor Neurone Disease Association, Rainbows Hospice, and Food Bank Aid, all of which provide vital services across the UK.
Conveybuddy Chief Executive Harpal Singh highlighted the company's commitment to integrating a substantial charitable element into its operations from the outset. He expressed satisfaction with the record donation, attributing it to the growing number of adviser users and the increasing volume of work instructed through the platform. Singh extended gratitude to the advisers, acknowledging their role in facilitating these charitable contributions.
The increase in donations reflects a broader trend of growth for Conveybuddy, with the company noting a rise in both adviser registrations and overall transaction volumes during the period. This suggests a healthy level of activity within the property conveyancing sector, as more professionals opt to use digital platforms for their case management.
For UK businesses, this initiative demonstrates how technology platforms can integrate social responsibility into their core operations, linking commercial success directly with charitable giving. Consumers engaging with conveyancing services through these advisers may also feel a sense of indirect contribution to good causes. The model encourages engagement from platform users by giving them agency in the donation process, potentially fostering stronger community ties within the industry.
