Photographer Cybele Malinowski, known for two decades of photographing contemporary cultural icons, has launched a new exhibition titled 'DEEPFAKE: what does it mean to be seen?'. The exhibit focuses on individuals who have chosen to impersonate celebrities.

The photographs for 'DEEPFAKE' were taken over two years in Las Vegas and Los Angeles. The exhibition is currently running at Carriageworks as part of Sydney Contemporary and will conclude on 6 September.
