A significant fire erupted at Dalton Mills in Keighley on Saturday evening, prompting the evacuation of several nearby homes. West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed the blaze was under control by 08:00 BST on Sunday.
Residents described feeling "helpless" as the fire, which is the third at the former mill this year, continued into Sunday. Teresa Taylor, a resident, said: "We've had no sleep, we're all at our wits' end."
Bradford Council emergency planning officers were present to offer support and guidance to those affected. The Grade II listed Victorian building has previously been a filming location for period dramas.
Robbie Moore, MP for Keighley & Ilkley, called the fire "extremely concerning" and stated that the site has not been secured. The Victorian Society also expressed concern regarding what they described as the fifth fire at Dalton Mill in recent years.
