David Beckham has received a $51m (£39m) dividend from his business empire, DRJB Holdings, which was significantly boosted by deals linked to the Fifa World Cup. The former England captain featured in around a dozen advertising campaigns during this summer's tournament in the US, partnering with brands such as Lenovo, McDonald’s, Bank of America, Verizon, and PepsiCo’s Lay’s crisps.
This World Cup-related work contributed to a record year for DRJB Holdings, Beckham's commercial brands company. Revenues for the company surged by a fifth to $110.5m last year, an increase from $92.3m in 2024. Pre-tax profits also reached a record $65.7m, marking a 46% rise compared to the previous year.
DRJB Holdings, jointly owned by Authentic Brands Group and Footwork Productions, paid out $51.1m to shareholders last year. An additional $61.6m was paid in special dividends this year, according to a Companies House filing due next week, resulting in Beckham receiving approximately $51m.
