The David Bowie Lightroom at King's Cross is set to ignite the imagination of fans once more with an electrifying new programme that's as vibrant as one of Bowie's iconic shows! The immersive experience, 'David Bowie: You're Not Alone', will now run until January next year, offering fans a chance to delve deeper into the legend's creative journey and legendary performances. It's a must-visit for anyone who wants to get up close and personal with the genius that was David Bowie.

And what better way to celebrate what would have been Bowie's 80th birthday on January 8th than with an unforgettable day of celebration? Adam Buxton, comedian and podcaster extraordinaire, is bringing his fantastic BUG Bowie Specials to the Lightroom on July 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Get ready for a thrilling ride as he explores Bowie's music videos and screen work, accompanied by archive clips and his own witty commentary!

But that's not all - cellist Peter Gregson is set to take centre stage with a series of live concerts on September 3rd, 4th, and 5th. In a tribute to Bowie's Berlin era, Gregson will present a creative response to the works of Bowie, Brian Eno, and their contemporaries, featuring a newly arranged version of Steve Reich's 'Electric Counterpoint', Eno’s 'Music For Airports', and his own recomposed Bach Prelude - not to mention some unique Bowie covers!

The ultimate immersive experience awaits with Pitch Black Playback's album listening parties in complete darkness. Using the venue's cutting-edge HOLOPLOT spatial audio system, fans can lose themselves in 'The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars' on July 28th, 'Let’s Dance' on August 4th, and 'Earthling' on August 11th - each followed by a viewing of the 'You’re Not Alone' exhibition. And to top it all off, a free outdoor 'Bowie Nights' concert will kick off King’s Cross Summer Sounds on August 13th in Coal Drops Yard, featuring performances from Ashaine White, Jack Kaye, and a surprise headliner - with Bowie covers galore!

But there's more! On September 25th, join the conversation between Alan Edwards (Bowie's former publicist) and Geoff MacCormack (Bowie's collaborator) as they talk about their new book 'David Bowie Music Lover', which explores Bowie's influences through his personal record collection. Richard Slaney, chief executive of Lightroom, believes that celebrating the multifaceted nature of artists is at the heart of what they do - and these Bowie Nights are a testament to that mission.

The award-winning 'David Bowie: You’re Not Alone' exhibition was co-written and directed by Mark Grimmer (known for his work on the V&A's 'David Bowie Is') and Tom Wexler. Drawing from thousands of hours of film from the David Bowie Archive in New York, it offers an unparalleled look at the artist's groundbreaking performances.
