Daydream, an AI-powered fashion discovery application, launched two new features on Monday, 14 September 2026. These additions enable iPhone users to convert saved outfit photographs into shoppable results and to search for clothing and accessories using Siri, without needing to open the app.
The new functionalities were developed using Apple's iOS 27 developer tools, which became available today. To use either feature, an iPhone running iOS 27 with Siri AI enabled and the Daydream app installed is required. The app is free to download on iOS devices.
One feature uses Apple's image-context capabilities, allowing users to shop from images already stored in their Photos app. Daydream analyses the outfit in an image, identifies individual pieces, and then surfaces shoppable matches or similar styles from its catalogue of approximately 3 million products. The app can also handle requests for variations, such as a different colour for an item in an image.
The second feature is a Siri-powered natural-language search function. Users can make requests by voice or text through Siri without opening the Daydream app. Daydream's co-founder and CEO, Julie Bornstein, stated that the experience can be more tailored if users have set up Daydream's "Style Passport," which collects details like sizes, preferred brands, personal style, and budget.
