Debian contributors have voted to allow the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in their coding processes. The decision states that while AI can be used, the quality of the code produced remains a mandatory requirement.
Under the new policy, contributors have the option to disclose whether they have used AI in their work, but it is not compulsory.
