Deloitte's UK arm has reported a 2% increase in revenue, reaching £5.81bn for the year ended 31 May 2026. This growth was observed across all business segments, with the technology and transformation arm leading at 4%.
The firm's audit and assurance business grew by 3%, and tax and legal by 2%. Its strategy, risk and transactions advisory group saw a 1% increase, rebounding from a 10% decline in the previous year.
Distributable profit for the period rose by 14% to £899m, up from £789m. Average profit per equity partner (PEP) increased by 7% to £1.125m, coinciding with a 6.5% rise in overall equity partner numbers to 784, marking the highest annual total in Deloitte UK's history.
New UK boss Darren Graves, who assumed the leadership role in June, commented on the results, stating they were delivered "against a complicated backdrop of geopolitical uncertainty and AI advancement." He also emphasised that AI "can’t replace lived experience or replicate the judgement and unwritten know-how built over years of working alongside clients and colleagues."
During the year, Deloitte UK increased its bonus pool by 14% and average in-grade salaries by over 4%, following the hiring of 3,500 new staff. This comes after a voluntary redundancy offer to its audit team earlier in the year, which reportedly included a package of eight months of full pay for approximately 200 auditors.
