The United Arab Emirates General Civil Aviation Authority has confirmed that air traffic has returned to normal following the lifting of airspace restrictions.
The restrictions, which were put in place in response to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, have been lifted, and Dubai airports are increasing flight capacity to meet the growing demand for travel.
UK travellers can expect improved travel times and more frequent flights, making it easier to plan their trips to Dubai and other destinations in the UAE.
According to Dubai Airports, the increased flight capacity will enable the airport to handle an estimated 1,400 flights per week, up from around 1,200 flights per week during the restricted period.
UK travellers should note that while the airspace restrictions have been lifted, other travel warnings and advisories may still apply. It is essential to check the latest travel advice from the UK Government before planning a trip to the UAE.
