Liam Birkett, a British adventurer, is preparing to put his skills to the test with a 35-mile journey down a UK canal on a specially designed duck-shaped paddleboard.
The challenge, which is set to take place in the coming weeks, aims to raise awareness and funds for mental health organisations.
Birkett, who has a background in canoeing and kayaking, has spent months preparing for the feat and has designed a custom-made paddleboard in the shape of a duck.
The paddleboard, which features a sleek, aerodynamic design, is equipped with a range of safety features, including a life jacket and a waterproof navigation system.
Birkett has stated that he will be relying on 'a hope and a prayer' for support during the challenge, although he has also enlisted the help of a team of experienced coaches and volunteers.
The 35-mile journey will take Birkett through some of the UK's most scenic countryside, including rolling hills and picturesque villages.
