Dutch Grand Prix: Lando Norris on pole, Antonelli leads F1 standings

Lando Norris starts the Dutch Grand Prix from pole position, while Kimi Antonelli maintains a significant lead in the Formula One standings.

Lando Norris of McLaren will start the Dutch Grand Prix from pole position today, 23 August 2026. George Russell and Kimi Antonelli are positioned close behind him on the grid.

Antonelli currently leads the Formula One standings with a 56-point advantage over Russell. Charles Leclerc is 79 points behind Antonelli, and Norris is 90 points adrift.

Russell won Saturday's sprint race at Zandvoort, but Antonelli extended his lead in the standings despite finishing fourth in the sprint. Lewis Hamilton, Antonelli's closest challenger before the sprint, finished seventh in that race and qualified fifth for the Grand Prix.

This year's Dutch Grand Prix marks the final race at Zandvoort, as the event has not been renewed beyond 2026.
