The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has changed its publication schedule for benefits statistics, moving from a quarterly release cycle to an annual compendium. This annual release provides a high-level summary of the latest Accredited Official Statistics and Official Statistics on DWP benefits.
The compendium also includes commentary on Benefit Combination statistics. Statistics on Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit are also published as part of this annual release.
Changes to the presentation of DWP statistics are also being made due to the devolution of social security benefits to the Scottish Government.
