The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has today, 30 July 2026, published its 'Get Britain Working: Labour Market Insights July 2026' official statistics. These new statistics are currently in development and provide data on various aspects of the labour market.
The insights include into-work rates for Universal Credit (UC) customers in the 'Searching for work' conditionality regime. This data offers breakdowns by geography, age, and the duration individuals have been on UC. The publication also covers sustained employment and worklessness among UC customers.
Additionally, the statistics provide information on young people who are not in education, employment or training (NEET) across England’s regions. The DWP has also made data tables available in open document spreadsheet (ODS) format, alongside a background information and methodology report.
