Eight Argentine professionals are set to travel to the United Kingdom to pursue one-year master's degrees, having been awarded fully funded Chevening scholarships. British Ambassador to Argentina David Cairns bid farewell to the scholars on Thursday, 27 August.
Ambassador Cairns congratulated the recipients, highlighting the diversity of their chosen fields of study, interests, and universities. He noted that the program fosters a community connecting Argentina and the United Kingdom through education, leadership, and friendship.
The scholarship enables young people from Argentina with leadership potential to undertake a graduate program at a British university of their choice with all expenses covered. The scholars for 2026-2027 will study at various institutions, including the Universities of Cambridge, Bristol, and London.
